I had a previous journey about dropshipping for free which had to be paused due to foolish reasons beyond my control (for the most part). Hope it didn't seem like I was the type to give up. I've saved a decent amount of money since then and planned to make this a large journey but I will start with a smaller one and once I reach this goal, I will commence the other. I had about $1k+ saved. Here is how it was distributed:

-$300/400 dollars on shoe customizing supplies(paint, brushes, cleaning, etc.). I will be selling on customized shoes and clothing on Etsy as a side hustle. Not one of the main things I want to do but I had my friends give me shoes they no longer wanted and since I can't fit any of them and have some art skill, I decided this made sense to do.

-$200 to $400 for E-com budget. I have a dropshipping site I'm creating today with Wordpress because I don't like Shopify that much. My main focus when it comes to this is a branded store with few products i can turn into a brand, but for now it will be one product stores all in one niche with a domain name that fits a wide range of products to save on costs.

-$100 to $200ish on Blogging. I have 3 websites and not only are they profitable niches, I'm also passionate about the topics, so it should be quite easy to continue writing about these for extended periods of time. Later, I will be reinvesting any money from the site into writers to free up my time to focus more on ads and SEO. I will be writing using dictation just because it's easier for me and I have a high quality microphone already, meaning softwares will most likely recognize my words better.

-$100 on books. Knowledge is power. Reading also happens to be a hobby.

The rest of my time will either be working, studying, or trying to get better at programming. This is the most I can really do with school coming up.
I will be getting a job again soon and investing more into each of these (besides Etsy unless it proves to be worth the investment).

Goal:
Hit $2k/month or more for two consecutive months from everything in total not including my job.

Current Objectives:
-Break even or profit with ecom site (creating today, ads tomorrow)
-Finish blogs and plan out articles
-Finish Dot Com Secrets
-Have one or two shoes finished
-Draw more (related to a goal that isn't listed)

Next Update: Friday, September 10th

With patience and consistency you may reach your goal.
Best of luck op

How much time it took to make the blogs profitable ?

Haven't done that yet. I literally just created it that's just how much I spent on starting each business.

Shopify

Apologies for the late update, but I am attempting to figure something out. Ran my first ig page ad ($65) and I'm not doing too well, so I am testing several variables. The design (logo isn't the best), text, adding color swatches, speed optimization, currency converter, removed breadcrumbs, better images (some of them looked low quality to me), adding actual names for the colors of the products because prior to that change, the options were all random letters of the alphabet. Changed the video on the homepage to a photo I made in photoshop. The homepage is pretty much the description but for the sake of possible conversions being lost I will try to make a longer one before running my second ad.

Now to what I'm trying to figure out. I have a score of 55 for speed on pagespeed insights (40 somehting before image compression), yet on gtmetrix, speedboostr i believe it was called, and webpagetest i have scores ranging from 80is to 100. I don't know why it varies so much and I am trying to decipher if it's speed, description, design and logo, or product that is causing the visitors with basically no sales. Don't think I will be breaking even with this one. Changing these things and running my next ad tomorrow so I can separate the stats to see which was the better design.

Shopify Costs:
-$5: Image Compression
-$65: Instagram Page Ad
-$29: Shopify Plan (I have like 2/3 days left in my trial. Had no access to internet and setting up a site on my phone through my limited data was not a frustration I wanted to experience.)
(Possibly 20ish to 30ish for loox if the free trial runs out)

+$10-$13 profit

Current Revenue: -$86-89
Current Profit: -$86-89

Blogging
Setting up the three blogs this week within the next 4/5 days. Next week I will start writing articles. So not much of an update for this one.

Niches:
-Self Improvement
-Finance and Business
-Fashion(?)

I chose these because they are things I actually care about and have knowledge on, so I won't extract my eyeballs, dismember myself, and roll what's left of me down the stairs. I truly don't enjoy writing about shit that I can't even fake interest in. Luckily, my interests happen to be profitable niches. Since I'm 17, I won't be speaking from much experience with finance and business. Mainly rewritten articles, knowledge from books, and original advice if i happen to have learning experiences to share with others in the future (highly probable). Self improvement is something I spent a lot of time on in my life and I am fascinated by mindset and philoshophy, fitness, and just overall productivity. This gives me the ability to share what I learn and possibly profit.

Current Revenue: -$50.64
Current Profit: -$50.64

Etsy
Painted one pair to completion. Two pairs will be getting finished after i type this and a possible fourth tomorrow. I decided not to post any on etsy until I had about 3 or 4. I didn't want to have 1 listing in case someone wanted to search for other customs and I had none. I would rather not ruin my possible income.

Current Revenue: -$320
Current Profit: -$320

Job update (disappointing)
I am going to keep this very short. I had a horrible pandemic school wise. I was learning, just not from school, causing me to fail about 3 classes. I can still graduate, but that requires after school credit recovery which runs from 3 to 6. That would give me practically no time for a job which is annoying because my past self is basically making me decide between what I spent hundreds on and spent all this time on prior to any journey and a job. Quite frankly, I'm not ready to give up every bit of my time to school and work because at some point I will burn out and I really don't want to do all of that. I'm going to attempt to figure out how to regulate or entirely solve an issue that is very much all my fault. I will see what I can do.

Next Update: Wednesday, September 22nd

OP Keep doing hard work and You will surely reach at your heights

Good luck
Thank you!

Also here are some stats. a few of those add to carts might be me from testing and looking at features but it's no more than 5. I know it most likely isn't 5 but it is around like 2 to 4 from testing some stuff.

Good luck with your journey, hope everything works out well for you.

It’s a marathon!

Not much of an update, so for now I will stop giving projections for new posts. Finished 3/4 shoes. Starting the blogs this week. Attempting to figure out a job with this credit recovery class. Closed the shopify store before I was charged. Hopefully I will have a better update soon but i am far from done. We're just getting started.
Following! Good luck you can do it

Thank you all! I will have better updates in the coming weeks. I will not disappoint.

You should always go with topics you are passion ate about in blogging. Then only you can work for many years.

Thank you
sounds interesting. Following this thread.

I do. I hate writing about what I don't care about. Shitty novels is why I failed English. I'm not stupid it just so happens that my brain turns off if I don't care about something.

Not much of an update. Shoes have been calling my name, taunting me in my room with their presence. I decided to finish and start a few. Some of these are unfinished. These will be (some of) my etsy products. I've been avoiding setting up the blogs solely because this credit recovery takes away a decent amount of my time. Decent meaning a large chunk of it. All this to say, blogs haven't begun and I still have some other shit to do, but the amount of time I spend at school is kicking me. I wish I had a hotspot, so I could bring my laptop and work considering a large amount of my time is spent doing not a thing and still passing my classes. There are fat watermarks so my images don't get stolen. It's happened before. If you can't see the designs well, blame the internet.
