SMH.... God damn FB is making it so you will have to be approved to send message to your own bot list, AND if you want to send promo content to the list then you STILL have to pay FB.

God damn it.

It takes effect from Jan 15th 2020.

tl;dr: If your Facebook Business Page is not approved for subscription messaging, then beginning Jan 15th 2020, you can no longer send chat blasts. Instead, you can only send sponsored messages, which cost money, because they’re ads of course.

Even so, there are other ways to make this work without messenger bot, you could just auto-respond with email. In fact, I think the method does not actually explain how to get people into messenger anyway (unless I missed that bit?). Maybe this is an option when using FB ads, but if using Google ads for example you could just auto respond with email to buy the second book.

Yeah it's a god damn shame. It seems like FB will be cracking down on this from Jan 15th this year.

You get subscribers by sharing your manychat / m.me link ... when people click that link they are sent to facebook messenger, all they have to do there is press the button in there to get started and they'll be subscribed. The first video in the post covered it.

But, yeah FB is putting up some serious restrictions on this. Its almost not worth it.

THE GOOD news is, you can do the same thing but with a mobile sms bot. I'll look into making a thread about that when I get some time.

Yes, but i was not sure ,did you make 5k/month doing this ? what is best method worked for you selling digital stuff
I have made some success driving traffic to my adsense sites using messenger

Totally agree and right on with your attitude.

I've been looking for a decent sms autoresponder that hooks up with Twilio for a couple of weeks now, but nothing affordable and flexible enough yet...when I find one I'll drop it in this thread ;-)

Was actually in the process of setting up my first funnel using this method ... and decided to share it with you lot.

Now I gotta find some alternative because I don't want to let FB control my system.

Good, and be careful they blocked one page only because a landing page integrated with a Cpa offer within the messenger.
 
I was also just thinking there must be sms bots that can do pretty much the same, but I have no idea on the price of these.

Everybody knows that email open rates are very low, but I think in this situation if you sign up to get something you want, you check your email right away. Then if you get sent a great offer later on, most people would at least open the email.

I think email would still work, just maybe slightly less conversion rate than fb messenger. Would be awesome if somebody could split test this.

Check out manychat, they already integrated sms within messenger but you need to pay for their stupid pro plan lol

E-mail is still the bread and butter for most successful marketers.

Was looking into it back in Nov. 2019 and it looked kinda good to me.


And someone is re-selling it here in the market section (misc) for around $15/month. It's built with Twilio.

In the end I choose to have my own custom sms sequence made directly with Twilio as I didn't want to pay anyone a monthly subscription. Though that comes with its own problems like it not being user friendly for now.

Not familiar with whatsapp bot, but if it works the same way - then that's a good twist. Go for it!

Yeah, traffic isn't really an issue once you've got all the other things in place. Focus on solving a real (ideally painful/emotional) problem, have a way to monetize, have a way to communicate with your audience on autopilot ... then getting traffic is just about buying it - instead of praying and hoping to some SEO guru that one day 3 months down the road you'll rank. You just target your audience and tell them you're solving a problem they have and if its a real problem - most people will take action and even tell their friends (i.e share the link).
 
If they limit chats from pages ,just do it from your personal profile .There are bots for this as well
 
or if you are on a limited budget join a forum, create a signature and promote your shit there.

Also goodluck selling or even giving away ebooks on FB and make it profitable with how the CPM and the constant new list of rules and TOS changes.

I'll bet anyone here that you won't make a dime with this, first because of people have seen it all, secondly, FB traffic is WAY to expensive to make a profit if you sell for $7- and lastly, the constant changing of the rules make it next to impossible to sell cheap ass PDF's when you are a complete stranger to them, again it isn't 2005 anymore.
