2016 Amazon 9 tips and tricks (guide)

Thanks for the share, I can definitely see a dramatic increase in clicks when I use great images

Hey worm, really valuable information there.
I'm building an eCommerce store but the part of your post "10 - Reviews" worries me.
The theme I'm using does something like this in the screenshot below:

Do you think that it's against Amazon's terms to do something like that?
A whole lot similar sites I have found that use this theme (Kingdom Theme) have the same reviews page.
I'm not really sure about that theme. If it's iframing a window from Amazon then you are probably on the safe side. But if they're copying it and republishing, then you can be in a bit of a danger.
The fact that people do it and get away with it, doesn't really mean a lot. There are people who churn and burn adsense account, you wouldn't want to do what they do I guess.

It is iframing.
Anyway, since you seem to know a lot about Amazon I'd like to ask you some things.

I have an issue with the prices, they do not update (for example when a product goes in or out of sale).
The price that stays forever on my products is the one when it was first imported.
I have contacted the developers of the WooZone which is the plugin I use to import and update but haven't offered any valuable solution yet.
Isn't having incorrect prices on your ecommerce store against the terms of Amazon? Also, doesn't it give you bad credibility?

I'm not sure about this, I never had any ecommerce site to be honest. I'm not the type of "steady relationship" guy but more like one night stand.
And I'm focusing on clickbank more, the payout is a lot bigger.
There's a hot thread here and those guys will sure be able to answer your question.
Sorry to disappoint you.

It's ok, thanks for all your answers and info.
Would you say that an Amazon Affiliate eCommerce store is the wrong way to go?
Isn't Clickbank a lot harder to sell to people since it's mostly online services and not physical products like Amazon's?

No, I'm no guru or expert, but eCommerce is good long term. But I've got mouths to feed, no time to wait for people to get to my site, do the seo or anything. You will probably bank, but it will take some time.
In my humble experience, you need to preheat the oven if you want to roast the turkey. Your visitor must be assured that your product is the best in the world, not only by you, but by his own peers, the other customers. If you just shove the turkey into a cold oven, it will be raw inside. But if you overdo it, the turkey will get overdone. So don't overdo the persuasion.
If done right, you can sell anything, physical product or an ebook. It doesn't matter. I used to doubt it but it somehow happens.

Thanks for your advice. I always read and try to learn as much as I can but the information is overwhelming.
And since I'm totally new to this, I'm afraid I may screw up by doing something stupid or noobish.
Anyway, do you mind if I pm you? I promise I won't bother you much :)

This was taken straight from the ebook "What works now 2016" it would have been better if you shared the ebook on here.

Thank you for shearing this! Would like to try it out. I'm somehow new here and there is lot of interesting ideas. Thank you once again :)

No problem, don't just read it like a novel, go ahead and apply, test, you'll find something that works I"M SURE>

Since amazon said no copying of user generated reviews on affiliate sites, wouldn't your account get closed during a manual review?

Thanks for the useful post..I am sure it will help to make money..:)

It's best to use the "read more" trick which leads to amazon site. You are safe with that because you didn't copy the whole review.

Great post. Information like this always inspires myself and I'm others to kick on and make some money. Appreciated.

Just keep going. He who dares wins

Hmm.. I was pretty sure the stars along with the reviews had alot of problem, at least in my case where I used quite a few plugins that tries to generate the star rating from the API. According to devs, the rating and review can only be loaded via iframe and the stars were not included. or something like that.

I'm not too sure about adding the star using amzn_assoc_rating = "true"; will cause problem. If they removed the code, it means they dont want it to be displayed, and to them it means altering the code which violates the TA

Can you please explain more about that 7 Yellow thing.
