    im setting up a WP site on godaddy i have bought 2 domains

    domain.com and domain.co.uk

    i have setup WP site on www.domain.com

    The registrar is different so i found godaddy nameservers and entered into DNS manager on domain.com on the registrar.

    it works and forwards to the WP site.

    Now i want domain.co.uk to send users to the same wp site i setup.

    CAn i do this? I thought jsut use the same godaddy nameservers as above, would that work. I still have to park the domain.co.uk on godaddy.

    but is that going to be ok. Someone said google will index both domains and see that they go to the same content and it will be bad for ranking for both domains. is this true.

    You will not receive a penalty if you add canonical meta tag. That way, search engines understand that this page is actually another page but has two urls .

    No need to mask anything. Just plain url structure. All you need is to have a meta tag with rel=canonical added to every page, value of which will be the original site url. I am sure there must already be a plugin to do that. If not, you can try to contact someone (including me hehehe) who will make it for you.

    <link rel="canonical" href="http://domain.com">
    to meta tags of every page?

    Not domain.com, but domain.com/url-which-is-duplicate

    Btw I am sorry about suggesting meta instead of link lol.

    https://yoast.com/rel-canonical/

    As for cross domain, refer to this section in that article.
    Edit: If you just want to redirect, then nothing stops you from doing do. You'll be fine.
