Hey guys, so 2 hours ago I walked out of a meeting. I closed a client for 27k... and I'm only 18.

I did this with ZERO adspend, NO email list, NO facebook group, NOTHING.

HOW?

Word of mouth, and providing value.

It all started 2 months ago, I reached out to a salon in my area offering to run their ads for 7 days for FREE.

They agreed.

I provided SOO much VALUE that there was no way they wouldn't hire me after the 7 days.

After the 7 days trial, I set up a meeting with her husband who's in charge and pitched them for $1500/month. They were a little uneasy, but what sold them, in the end, were 2 things:

1. The ROI they received
2. The customer service they received, it's the relationship that I nurtured with them that eventually sold them on it.

It gets better...

So after running the salons ads for 1 month, we had another meeting.

Her husband owns a car repair shop, autobody shop, exotic car repair shop, and the salon.

At the end of the meeting, I walked out with a 27k total deal (6 month contract for 3 businesses, and 3-month contract for the other)

At the end of the contracts, we'll be meeting up again to negotiate a different price... a higher price.

Moral of the story: PROVIDE value, and over deliver.

If they hire you for a 2k job, you should do a job that's worth 6k.

If you're just starting out in your business and NEED work, there's no shame in doing a little work for free to get your foot in the door.

Even something as easy as setting up the Facebook pixel on their website (5-minute job), is enough to get your foot in the door.

Or set up a small FB campaign for them

Or make them an email to send out to their email list.

Literally anything.

A small gesture might lead you to a 27k deal.

That's not bad at all. In person marketing is so profitable if you are good with words. Nice job!

congrats bro , keep it up on good working !! wish u all the best bro

Congratulations. That's a huge deal!
You are also spot on in regards to over-delivering and finding ways to give extra value: like some freebies and excellent customer service.

Awesome!
I have read your journey from dropshipping to 10k.
Did you learn facebook ads from dropshipping?

Yes dropshipped taught me everything I needed to know about Facebook ads to get results for clients.

I'll say that is a professionalism if you will take the second client like this.
This is just luck because you can find a client with 300$ budget.

Anyway, good job and good communication skills. Congratz!

Absolutely amazing.

I'm about to cry.

You created your own opportunity, did a good job and they understood your value.

Congratz man!

is this for real.... ? strange

How is this strange? This is not hard at all and is just good business. Establish a relationship with a client, sell the personal aspect of the whole deal and gain trust. Then over deliver on everything and land more clients... Thats.. business? Not strange.

Is that $27k the profit you are making, or including the ad spend?

I have been testing agencies (AW not FB) and most that I have seen are charging a base rate + 10% of my ad spend or something.

How is your drop shipping going by the way?

Good job man , you're going great :D one question:
When you were talking to the meeting before months how you made them trust you to run ads etc.. ? started giving general tips etc?

Congratulations on the success. Really great stuff. Plus if the owner has multiple business, he most definitely has friends who own businesses as well.

What kind of work will you be doing for them? (Running ads, setting up email campaigns, ORM, etc)

Yes it's for real

Promotional aspect of OP deleted.
Sorry about that

Good job man , you're going great :D one question:

I initially offered to run the ads for free for the salon for 7 days. I got on a call with them. Getting them to agree to run the ads for free wasn't hard.
After I ran those ads, that's how I got their trust.

Not dropshipping anymore, doing an SMMA agnecy.
There's an added adspend on top of the 27k. Adspend for the salon is $500-$700/month and for the autoshops it's unlimited as long as it makes sense and it brings back a positive ROI.

But not the whole 27k is profit. hst tax was included in my price (13%)
I have to pay my video guy, software costs, and a few other expenses.

What kind of work will you be doing for them? (Running ads, setting up email campaigns, ORM, etc)
- Facebook ads - running giveaways, promotions, making video ads, creating chatbots etc
- Email sequence when a lead comes in
- Some automated texts
Congratulations man ! What country are you from ?
Canada
