I also just got a bing coupon and now I want to use it for promoting cb products.
Setting up a landing page with testimonials is a really good idea.
But I am not sure where to start .... who is using bing as a search engine? Which people I can target there?

When it comes to PPC, you gotta test both direct and LP's. From there, you a tracker. Cut out the ones that are giving you negative ROI. If you're a noob then it's recommended that you have a budget of $500-$3000. Otherwise, you won't get enough data to optimize your campaign.
 
Hi, I learned the hard way with Bing. You need to learn optimization, track your keywords and when you do get a conversion drop the keywords that do not convert.
I had to throw a lot of money at my first campaign until I got some data then I was able to tailor my campaign to run with converting keywords on certain days of the week and to, say 18/30 year olds. Basically you target what works and don't pay for non converting clicks.

maybe you used too broad keywords, you can try to narrow your keywords up to 10 for the start. That keywords should be very targeting to your product. Don't pay too much for keywords max. 0.05-0.08c/keyword and set daily budget to 5$.
 
Well PPC requires money for testing first but once you find the keywords that really work, then you will earn loads of money.
 
well, you were lucky enough to have the automated bot to judge your quality score as a 9 which is extremely rare for a direct linking campaign... so I would expand on that campaign as much as possible and probably take the advice from all the other people to improve it so that you will start seeing returns and ROI... also, your 5 quality score campaigns aren't going to do you justice and you're just going to end up wasting money on those campaigns... direct linking seems to work for a lot of people, it really depends on the niche... pre-selling it like the other guys are saying is also another way of getting it to work but your LP's will have to be really nice and convincing... put the work in and reap the profits
 
Concentrate more on keywords research. Research more about target people for campaign related to keyword :)
 
Did you do split testing on the ads? And did you check the ads your competitors are using?
 
using coupons will probably get your account banned ... so it's not a long term option.
Speaking about long term options, do you think sending the traffic directly to the product page is a good option? Why not collect that cheap Bing traffic in a list, make it responsive, and reap the rewards for months to come?

Hey, i just cut 12-18 months of your learning curve. Yup..it was that easy... PPC+affiliate is very annoying+hard+ time consuming+ money consuming...That's probably why mjordan made that post regarding "if life were that easy".
 
Try hiring some pro on Fiverr who will optimize your ad campaign and write you catchy ads...
 
I'd recommend you getting a professional or someone who knows what he's doing to optimize your advert, I was in the exact situation as you.
 
As Bing is used by older people, I now found a product on CB suited for seniors. I think it might convert quite well. The problem is, I need somebody with experience having a look at my ad or better said keywords, I am not sure which keywords to use and how much to bid on them.

How you musk your Affiliate link ? Domain Redirection or Link Shorter ?
 
It could have been anything to be honest. You should have been more careful with the PPC approach. Instead of simply adding an affiliate link, you could have invested $30 in a squeeze page with an email integration. That way, you could have got some sign ups and a few sales after the squeeze page got redirected to the affiliate link.

After that, you could have followed up with the sign ups with other offers and discounts.

It could have been that you were just unlucky or your niche wasn't that buyer orientated. Now that you learnt what works and what doesn't, you could apply the changes to your next PPC case.

The thing is that your CB product has changed their page.
The normal page is that you have a video or something that the people can watch before they buy that shit that you're selling. After watching it they have the choice to buy it with the "buy button" or just to leave the page.
Now there it the problem with the change. They have changed it that way that you can NOW write your e-mail in a pop up to get to the final selling/buying page BUT you can't watch the video after that change. So your guys have absolutely no chance to get your product to know.
The only chance to get both is to reopen the window, then it's solved but who is going to open an ad twice. that's stupid lol
My dear friend, you have to change your product and watch if the mistake is still there.
 
Should have used a tracker as well. However don't give up! Keep a lower budget per day and analyze the stats!
 
How much were the clicks? sounded like you tried something super competitive.
 
a word of advice when it comes to Bing Ads. Get off the Affiliate Partners networks. this is where your money go. From Adgroup level uncheck afilite partners, thus all your money will be spent on Bing and yahoo only. May see lower impressions but believe me the conversions are high
 
i used 5 free $100 bing coupons, used targeted paid traffic and solo emails, crossed 26000 hops in a week but the sad part is that i didnt even gave me a single sale :(
