$100 Days vs. $10,000 Months — Which One Do You Prefer?

When I started digital marketing, I started pushing smaller ticket items. I was making around $100 a day, which I thought was a dream, honestly. All of it was a rush to me, and as a new affiliate marketer, that is a huge accomplishment. I felt like I was killing it, honestly. But after a while, I realized that I was nickel-and-diming.

I used to hear people claim they had $10,000 days. I personally could not imagine that. But I think my limited belief system is what kept me from experiencing that type of success.
Being able to earn $10,000 a month gives you breathing room. It gives you more stability when compared to making $100 a day.

I think when you are selling low-ticket items, you are constantly grinding to make volume. You're chasing sales every single day, and if you miss a day, you miss money. Higher ticket offers can equate to one client, which can replace weeks of that grind.

Please do not misconstrue what it is I am saying. I appreciate those $100 days because they taught me how to market, test, and fail. But eventually, I had to leverage that knowledge and learn how to expand my reach. I didn't want to spend 5 years chasing small wins anymore.

For me, $10,000 months beat $100 a day every single time. Because $100 days keep you hustling. $10,000 months give you freedom.

$100/day is like one of the first and probably biggest milestone that makes it seem like you can make it full-time and find other things to expand into.

$100 a day for 5 years is enough for me to never need to make money online again.

the good old days when I was making $10G a month
 
$10K month for sure.
Monthly income for me is better.

I promise you, hitting that milestone put fire under my ass for real. Like you said, once you hit that, you knew that the ability to make real income was a possibility. And all we really need is a mustard seed to kickstart the confidence needed to push forward and scale.

I agree. That was another limiting belief I also had. And honestly, that being considered a small business still boggles my mind to this day.

I was never a fan of monthly income until I made monthly income. It's much less sporadic, and I am able to handle my finances so much better. Plus, if I have a bad month, I have a cushion I can fall back on.

I was never a fan either. Until I needed something.. we spend money daily , a monthly income to cover such expenses will keep me alive. and focused at work.

Keep the good job on and make more monthly.
 
I get what you’re saying about shifting from small wins to bigger leverage plays. But what I think gets overlooked is the cost side.

$100/day × 30 days = $3K. $10K/month obviously sounds better, but the real question is:
  • How much time, energy, and ad spend does each one actually take?
  • Is that $10K consistent and repeatable, or just a lucky spike?
  • What’s the net profit after refunds, tools, and CAC?
Sometimes $3K profit > $10K revenue. The grind is real on both ends it just shifts form.

Curious, for your $10K months, what was the main driver higher ticket offers, better funnels, or just mindset shift?

I love intellectual responses like these. Everything you said is on point. That is exactly why I asked the question that I asked because there are people out here who would rather have the smaller wins than the bigger wins for the reasons you listed in your post.

The bigger wins come with larger investments and more energy. Where the smaller wins, not so much. The smaller wins come with more grind, which equates to more time, more energy, and less ad spend, in my opinion. I think regardless of small or large wins, spikes will happen either way. I don't believe in luck, though; I believe you get out exactly what you put in.

When it comes to how I approach things within my hustle, I have a mixed bag. I never put all my eggs in one basket. I focus my attention on HIGH TICKET OFFERS and VOLUME. High ticket offers don't need volume, which is why they are a great asset, but you also have to know how to sell them. Mid to low priced offers are where volume comes in. Having an exceptional funnel is a non-negotiable; it's the closer. And as for mindset, that to me is the main ingredient behind my hustle. I attract what I am not, what I want. So to answer your question, all three of those played a huge part in my 10k months.

Respect your take, but I’ll challenge it: grind is just another form of investment (time, energy, opportunity cost). $10K months sound nice, but if $9K is eaten by ads, tools, or labor, that’s vanity, not profit.

High-ticket is powerful, but fragile a dry lead spell or a missing closer and the whole system wobbles. Small consistent wins compound quietly and build resilience.

The real test isn’t the revenue, it’s net leverage. Could your funnel still hit if ad costs doubled or your closer vanished for a month?
 
The best feeling is when you achieve your first $100 in less than an hour. I still remember the first time it happened to me, but it never gets old. Of course, I haven't managed to make it a constant (yet).
