Most of the cases are $77 but I had one of domains held there for 199$. And I couldn't transfer the domain to another registrar until the whois info stays unchanged for 90 days.

Lots of good information posted, much appreciated; I use GoDaddy right now, but plan to use other providers in future.
 
I got my domain at the $2.19 rate, was going to go in to start a few more 199test domain accounts, but it's closed. If you need to make up contact info, fakenamegenerator.com can't be beat. Use it to create your account in conjunction with a Paypal one time use virtual debit card to retain anonymity.

If someone from Godaddy.com was standing in front of me right now....I would beat them to death. Their site is so fucking annoying. Someone please crash that disgusting, money-grubbing site!!!! NOW
 
This only works for new registrations. I jsut tried it on several renewals I had expiring this month and it would not give it to me

Yeah its for registrations only, but the thing is: do you say it still works? I thought it expired days ago..

tried this today. didnt work. any new 1.99 coupon? I usually use namecheap. But after coupon the price is still high which is $8.81. I use few domains with my company name with godaddy. But for blackhat, I always use namecheap because of its free whoisguard service.

Just like the other one, this is a one-off use per GoDaddy account, for new domains only (not renewals).
Code MTECH330 gives you 30% off .com, including renewals and no limit on use. Brings base price down to $7.49 I think.
Plus I use these for other GoDaddy savings: MTECH1 10%, MTECH2 20% off 50USD or more

the coupon code: 99DOMAIN cannot be use anymore, guess it has been expired.

Hi guys, for namecheap, the whoisGuard is it only available to new ACCOUNT or existing account with new DOMAIN registration? meaning 10 new domains reg, 10 whoisguard free?
