Most of the people that click on my ads just visit for 2 seconds and leave. No clicks or scrolls. What could that possibly mean? They don't even have time to read what's on the page!?

I recently bought a domain that I 301 redirected to my main domain. Now I get bounced visits from a range of domains (gmail, youtube, saas sites, even pubmed and sciencedirect) at the same time every day... I just don't get it... What's in it for them to do that, and does it benefit me in any way?
