What to do with 4000 member meetup group?

Is there any idea of what to do with a meetup group with approximately 4000 members and real past events? Cannot burden myself running more events. Should I just close it down?

Dont close it immediately with 4000 members and past activity, you can either
hand over to a co-organizer or multiple moderator

i agree with @MrFuture as you can hand over to multiple people to go along and make it active and live everytime

Tried reaching out - no one wants it, + expensive to host events

Sell it to someone at sharing or partnership base. So in future you can also utilize it without cost and you'll be earning recurring base too.
