A New Scam: Forum Members and Industry Peers, Please Stay Alert!
About two weeks ago, someone obtained information from our posts on BHW and reposted it elsewhere to run a scam. They claimed to offer VIP discounts—for example, charging only a 2% fee on a $10,000 deposit—to lure customers in.
As we understand it, the scam may work in one of two ways. The scammer either uses our marketing content from BHW and shares our real contact details on another platform, while directing potential victims to a Telegram account called
Adelina_Bison only VIP; or they first run the scam using that account and then replace the contact details with ours when it is time to disappear with the money. As a result, victims mistakenly believe we are responsible and contact us to vent their anger.
I understand that N1.agent and laurelAgent on this forum have faced similar situations and been impersonated by scammers.
For the past two weeks, we have been doing our best to explain the situation to affected customers. We’re grateful to those who took the time to think things through and realized they had been deceived by an impersonator. We have also been actively reporting these incidents to the relevant platforms to help prevent others from being scammed.
However, today we learned that the scammer is trying to claim elsewhere that they own our BHW account and that our official contact details and website are fake. This has angered us once again.
The attached image was sent to me by someone who says it shows the scammer planning their next move:
- They are trying to use a single image as proof that they currently own our BHW account.
- The image appears to have been edited in Photoshop: the spacing between the avatar and the text is clearly wrong. Under the normal display layout, “Adelina_BisonClick” would not fit in full here; it should appear as “Adelina_Biso...”.
To the scammer: stop scamming people immediately. I’d also like to see what other evidence you can come up with to prove that our claims are false.
