Domain age is Impact on SEO?

hello all,

Does domain age still have a noticeable impact on SEO, or can a newer website compete if the content and backlinks are strong enough?
Age on its own is not really the thing. Google has said it is not a direct ranking factor, older sites just tend to have more links, more content and more trust built up over time, so it looks like age is helping.
A newer site can compete if the content is better and the links are real, mostly in less competitive keywords first. Hard terms will take longer no matter what.

Domain age alone doesn’t have much impact on rankings. A newer site can absolutely compete with strong content, solid technical SEO, relevant backlinks, and good topical authority.

Yeah, I think the history behind the domain matters more than the age itself. A clean aged domain can give you a head start but I would still take a fresh domain over an aged one with a bad history.

I don't think domain age matters much now. Older sites just has advantagr to build content, links and authority, but a new site can still compete if its content is good and has relevant to niche backlinks.

I'm still learning SEO, but I guess an old domain isn't always better . If its history is bad, it can be more trouble than it's worth. Domain age isn't everything, I guess.

Domain age can help indirectly, but I don’t think it’s a major ranking factor on its own. A new website can definitely compete if it has quality content, relevant backlinks, and good topical coverage. In my experience, the quality and relevance of the overall SEO strategy matter much more than how old the domain is. An older domain may have an advantage because it has already built trust and authority, but a newer site can catch up with the right approach.

yeah, i have seen newer domains rank ahead of older domains as long as the content is more aligned to the search intention. an older domain will work well if its history is good.

Of course domain age is still impacts indirectly but it's not a only thing which impacts SEO. Infact there is no single factor which impacts SEO.
A new domain can compete with the older domains if it has relevant backlinks, strong technical SEO and better content.
