I launched an adult website in the "leaks" and celebrity nude photos niche. The site was submitted to Google and Bing on April 28; at launch, there were 600 pages. The site has two categories:
/nude/ – photo + a description of at least 200 characters;
/model/ – a model's profile page with a biography and all photos from the /nude/ category.
There are no issues with internal linking. In early June, I used third-party services to submit pages to the Google index; out of 1,000 pages, 327 were indexed. At that time, there were impressions and a few clicks from Google, while Bing showed 0 impressions and 0 clicks.
In July, the number of indexed pages dropped from 327 to 112, and impressions also plummeted by 90%.
By the end of August, the number of indexed pages rose to 146; impressions didn't recover, but there were 1–2 clicks per day.
In early September, the number of indexed pages rose to 237.
On September 16, the number of indexed pages dropped from 237 to 221.
On September 19, the number of indexed pages dropped from 221 to 217.
On September 22, the number of indexed pages dropped from 217 to 86.
Traffic from Bing, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo began to grow in September, rising from 1–2 clicks per day to the current 8–10 clicks per day.
On Bing, the number of indexed pages is growing—slowly, but it is growing. Here is a breakdown of the backlinks I purchased:
May: Bought 10 Web 2.0 article submission links
June: Bought another 10 Web 2.0 article submission links
July: Bought 4 PBN links
August: Bought 10 PBN links
September: Bought 10 PBN links
The site is over 5 months old, but Google refuses to index my pages and isn't sending any traffic. I need advice from experts: what is wrong with my site? Do I need to change something so Google accepts it, or have I been hit with a Google penalty?
I checked GSC Manual Actions, and everything looks clean.
