Guys i'm not sure how and what AI solution can make this possible, i have a SaaS built on my oracle cloud server, when i face a problem i keep asking chatgpt on the problem i face and then solve it, also for example i have a database if i want to edit i might need to use some postgresSQL to edit while i'm asking chatgpt to help me, meanwhile is it possible to give an ai model access to your tools and system to keep editing it, because really what i need is very basic and nothing very complexe, since most of my work just connecting the API tools and building scripts

you can do this pretty easily nowadays using cursor or windsurf instead of the normal chatgpt web interface. you basically connect it to your server via ssh and it can read your codebase and run terminal commands to edit stuff. for the postgres database you can set up a local tunnel and let the ai write and execute queries. just be careful and keep backups because giving an agent write access to a live db can go south real quick if it loops on an error... but for basic api stitching and scripts it works fine.
informative, a question here about the model i'm going to use, when you say cursor for example, do i just run it over cmd while i give the ssh access so it can process, i hope my questions aren't very dumb because really my first time building an agentic ai workflow because all of my previous ai uses were basic, since i'm consantly building and editing stuff on my server while deploying apps for example and solving problems, i'm wondering for the usage of the AI, i would only use it on my desktop from the cmd with the API connection access and providing the ssh connection, but does it going to store the memories of the infrastracture on my desktop somewhere or on cusor server, since i've being using cursor from the editor and not the CLI and i was just build local scripts on my pc

create spec using open spec for your entire project so that LLM always has your full context of your project

yes you can do that, install claude code or cursor on your pc and give it ssh to your server
it remembers your setup in a notes file inside your project folder on your pc, not on the server
just make a db backup first before you let it edit anything

Something like Claude Code or OpenAI Codex can edit code and help debug issues. You can also connect it to GitHub and use SSH for your server depending on your setup.
