what about tiktok videos and affiliate link to the items u show on tiktok?

I think the approach is realistic, especially because you’re not relying entirely on SEO from day one. Targeting a local language and a tight microniche should give you a much better starting point than trying to compete globally.

Good luck with the project — definitely interested to see how it develops.
Thanks, me too.

I dont use tiktok for now, but might consider it in the future.

Update:

Published another article and am getting impressions. The search terms they use are the long tail keywords I am putting in the article. Hopefully I will get my first visitor soon.

Don’t mind GSC for now and start pumping content out

I am doing that these days. Still can't help but to check it out daily haha.

Update
I am still here, just working silently in the background till results come up.

Still no clicks on big G but my impressions and positions are getting better. I had problem with my sitemap for a few days due to a plugin, which may have caused problems (the dip around 21 I think). Now that I have resolved it, I hope things will pick up faster.

I have one here though, this is also how I discovered the problem because the sitemap kept giving errors. Oh well, at least I fixed it now.

Got 26 keywords according to semrush. Search console says I have a few more.

Nothing much yet other than I have been creating content.

Update:

I got it guys, the first real click shown up in google search console. The visitor also clicked through on my affiliate link.

Sidenote: I have added another affiliate provider to my articles which is also a big known company in my country. Anyone have experience with having both amazon and the other one in there? 1st click.png

Will I make it to $1000 a month?

Hey guys,

I'm currently on vacation but the IM bug has bit me again. After reading some journeys here about Amazon affiliate websites. I have decided to create one of my own.

It might not be easy with ai overview and the amount of ai bots like chatgpt out there, but I think it's still possible to have decent success with it.

I will be creating a microniche site first to target low competition decent search volume keywords that have buyer intention. The articles will be buyer guides and comparisons + reviews. When I have fleshed out the niche decently I will create content for a related microniche and keep doing this to increase the content and authority of the website.

Sounds like it might be tough and too general to work right? It might be! That is why I will be using a few twists that hopefully will give my site some fighting chance.

The twists?

The twists are that I will be targeting my local language from the country I live in instead of the global market. This should already reduce a lot for the competition if I am correct. Another thing is that I am going to use social media to boost the traffic early on instead of just waiting for organic traffic while ranking the content.

These two things should give me a decent chance at success if I keep at it for 3-6 months when done next to the usual things.

What did I do already?

Today I have chosen a fresh domain with a name that could become a brand. It might be tougher early on with getting ranked etc, but that is fine by me.

What I also did was the basics of setting up the website and installing WordPress.

My skillset

Things that I can do at least decently:

  • Create a WordPress website and optimize it with plugins etc.
  • Create a silo structure for my articles (menu buttons go to main page with a few popular articles at the top and the rest in a grid below) all articles will refer back to main page
  • Do basic keyword research with tools like semrush
  • Rewrite AI assisted content to make it personal and optimize it for seo
  • Build basic backlinks

What's next?

Since I am still on vacation, I will take it easier for the next few days. I still have to install plugins and see what other things are needed for the website. I will also create the structure on the website so that I can start producing content afterwards. I am probably going to research keywords and possibly create content as well if I have enough time. I will also be looking into AI images to use for my articles when needed.

Conclusion

That's all for now. So, what do you think? Am I going to make it or not? I added a poll for fun so vote for it if you want to support or hate.

Feel free to comment or ask questions
have you gotten there yet, i wish you best of luck
