Domain age is Impact on SEO?

hello all,

Does domain age still have a noticeable impact on SEO, or can a newer website compete if the content and backlinks are strong enough?
Age on its own is not really the thing. Google has said it is not a direct ranking factor, older sites just tend to have more links, more content and more trust built up over time, so it looks like age is helping.
A newer site can compete if the content is better and the links are real, mostly in less competitive keywords first. Hard terms will take longer no matter what.

Domain age alone doesn’t have much impact on rankings. A newer site can absolutely compete with strong content, solid technical SEO, relevant backlinks, and good topical authority.

Yeah, I think the history behind the domain matters more than the age itself. A clean aged domain can give you a head start but I would still take a fresh domain over an aged one with a bad history.

I don't think domain age matters much now. Older sites just has advantagr to build content, links and authority, but a new site can still compete if its content is good and has relevant to niche backlinks.

Domain age is not a ranking factor, but aged domains help when they come with relevant, clean backlinks and history. A new site with consistent content and decent backlinks is enough, too.
