What AI tools are you actually using for SEO?

ChatGPT for strategies and content analysis, Claude for audits, and Perplexity for source based research; however, for clustering, competitors, and backlinks, I always verify AI results with actual SEO data before taking any action.
 
The primary AI tools used in daily SEO workflows include ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Surfer SEO, and Frase.
 
I mainly use AI for the boring and time consuming SEO tasks, and leave the more complex things for humans.

ChatGPT – keyword research, content outlines, topical maps, meta titles and competitor analysis.
Claude – long form content, content briefs and handling large data.
Perplexity – quick SERP/competitor research and finding sources.

I also use AI with Screaming Frog and Ahrefs exports to find things like missing metadata, keyword cannibalization, weak pages and backlink issues.
For me AI works better as an SEO assistant, not a full replacement. I still double check the data and make the final SEO decisions myself.
 
Claude Code more than anything else now, and not for content in the chat sense. I point it at a folder with a prompt file and a CSV of keywords and it writes and files the tier articles, runs the checks, fixes what broke. Same thing for cleaning verified lists and pulling GSC exports into something readable. That plus GSA SER and RankerX for the actual building is basically the whole stack.
Chat window for research and briefs like everyone else. The coding agent side is where the real time saving turned out to be, because it does the boring repeated stuff rather than the clever stuff.

typo fixed with claude code since i am not a native english speaker so yeah like me from non native speaker AI helps a lot in this case i use fable for that

Doing exactly the same. Before the AI era, so much work even with the automation tools. One of my biggest lazy tasks was filling GSA SER fields. Even with SEO Content Machine auto-filler, it involves manual tasks to fill content with those fillers. But now, thanks to agents, live saver.
 
one nobody mentioned, i run ad copy through claude/chatgpt first to flag words that trip platform review before it goes out, saves alot of wasted review cycles on riskier niches
 
keyword clustering and backlink analysis AI tools are mostly overrated actual data tools like Ahrefs still do that better and AI layered on top adds noise more than insight.

Only chatgpt at the moment. I use it mainly for research, and sometimes for basic images generation.
 
Honestly this list matches what alot of folks doing them everyone stacking 3 4 tools instead of one Keyword clustering thru AI still hit or miss, sometimes it groups totally random stuff together lol. Outreach drafts tho thats where it actually saves real time.
 
I only use GPT to help with content ideas and to find suitable techniques to support my SEO efforts.

Still figuring out which tools are actually useful vs. just creating more work
