I'm interested in what is actually working on real websites right now. Content, links, technical, SEO, topical authority or something else? Would be useful too hear some real experiences.

Updating my contents through GSC data works well for me, and then creating links.
 
Fixing on-page SEO, updating content, and getting more backlinks.
 
For me, success is driven by quality content internal linking followed by some contextual backlinks wherever they fit. Technical SEO is important but in my view more of the base rather than growth engine.
 
Updating old pages can sometimes give better results than constantly creating new ones, especially when the page already has some traffic.

Focusing on creating bofu keywords pages instead of going for keyword that are not gonna get my bills paid. Building topical authority around a topoc then going for another topic
 
Topical authority helped me a lot. Creating content around one niche instead of random keywords gave better results.

Yes, I have noticed that as well. If a page has traffic and history, then just refreshing it could work more efficiently than creating somthing from scratch.
 
The SEO strategy that gives most consistent results is topical authority to built the topic cluster model.
 
For me, updating old content works better because content that already has some authority will always give better results.
 
I’ve seen the most consistent results from combining useful content with relevant backlinks. Technical SEO matters too, but the balance between content and links makes the biggest difference.
 
I usually focus on content and on-page SEO during the first few months. Once I have enough content, I start building backlinks and generating search traffic through niche keywords. That’s how I approach all of my blogs, and it has been highly effective.
 
For me, quality content and topical relevance have been making the biggest difference lately.
 
Use AI to enrich thin content. Refresh often via GSC. Get legit social media engagements
 
one thing i'd add is checking cannibalization before publishing more.

if 2-3 urls keep appearing for the same query in GSC, i'd rather merge/rework them and make it clear which page should own that intent. otherwise you can keep adding content and links while the site is basically competing with itself.

that cleanup is boring but it can make the rest of the seo work much more consistent.
