Hey BHW,

Long-time lurker, finally starting a journey. This one's a bit different from the usual "$0 to $100/day with CPA" — I'm not starting from zero, and I'm not chasing quick money. I'm pivoting an existing business, and I'll document the whole thing here with real numbers.

Quick background

For over a year I've been running a crowdsourced engagement platform: real people complete social media tasks — follows, likes, custom comments, live views, watch time, DMs — and get paid in crypto per completed task. Not a bot farm, not device farms, not aged account clusters. Actual humans on their own accounts, doing small tasks for money.

It started as a service for direct clients (brands and agencies). It works, but here's what I learned the hard way: selling to brands doesn't scale. Every deal needs calls, custom proposals, hand-holding. I was running a sales operation, not a platform.

Where I'm starting from (Day 0 numbers)

  • Registered task users: 567,000+ across 209 countries
  • Total engagements delivered: 2.6M+
  • Platforms covered: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Reddit, Telegram
  • 30-day retention on delivered engagements: 95% (~5% drop rate — real accounts don't unfollow the way bot accounts get purged)
  • Wholesale revenue as of today: $0 — that's the whole point of this journey

The pivot

I'm killing the direct-client model entirely and turning the network into a wholesale provider for SMM panels.

Why? Because I've been reading this forum for a long time, and the same complaints come up every week: followers drop after 48 hours, "USA followers" that are anything but, refill tickets piling up, providers that mark orders completed without delivering. Almost every panel resells the same handful of bot sources, and the whole supply chain is racing to the bottom on price while quality craters.

Meanwhile the thing panels actually struggle to source — genuinely real engagement — is what I already have. Custom comments written by real people. Live viewers who actually watch. Follows that stick. A bot farm can't fake that, and the panels know it.

The goal: $10k/month in wholesale revenue within 6 months.

Milestones I'm tracking (will update status as things get done):
  • Standard provider API, Perfect Panel compatible — services / add / status / refill / balance (in progress)
  • Public service list with transparent pricing and drop-rate data (pending)
  • First 10 panels running test orders (pending)
  • First 3 recurring wholesale clients (pending)
  • Scaling the active task-user base to keep up with panel volume — the hard part nobody talks about: a real-user network has physical capacity limits, unlike a bot farm where you just spin up more instances (ongoing)
  • $10k/mo wholesale (pending)

What I'll post here

Weekly updates, every week, with actual numbers: orders processed, drop-rate stats by platform, capacity bottlenecks, pricing experiments, mistakes. The supply side of a real-user network is genuinely hard — matching task supply to order demand, quality control on comments, preventing abuse from the user side — and I haven't seen anyone document it here, so that's the gap this journey fills.

House rules for this thread

Not selling anything here. No links, no DMs about services — if I ever get a marketplace thread approved, that'll be its own thing, done by the book. This is purely a build log.

What I would love in the comments: if you run a panel or resell, tell me your worst provider experience. What made you drop a provider? What would a provider have to prove before you'd trust "real users" claims? That feedback directly shapes what I build.

First real update this weekend: API progress + drop-rate breakdown by platform.

Let's go.!

Hey, welcome! Looking forward to your updates.
