The solution is using ElevenLabs conversational models, adding custom pacing, and writing a highly engaging script. Match that with heavily edited visuals and your own unique storytelling, and the algorithm will push it just fine.

YouTube doesn't prioritize videos simply because they use AI voiceovers. The platform prioritizes content that is valuable and has high viewer retention. AI voices (like ElevenLabs') are just a supporting tool. Whether your channel grows or gets monetized depends on how you create your content.

it is not against ai voices, but it is against low quality ai voices. Some ai have spikes in the audio, which you should edit with audacity or other tool before you post it

I think the bigger issue is AI-generated content quality rather than the voice itself. A natural AI voice can work perfectly well if the script, pacing, visuals and editing actually give viewers a reason to stay. I’d focus more on making the videos genuinely useful/original and watching retention data than worrying about the voice being AI. That seems like a much better long-term approach for a faceless channel.

Youtube is unpredictable to be honest and will work fine with AI voice sometime , sometime even with real voice don't work good
The problem i have with AI voices is not that itself as I have seen plenty of anonymous channels manage to use it well rather, it was when the video is entirely generic.

Yes, there are tons of channels with awful AI voices that publish audiobooks. And that's the least of it: some clone images of famous people like Robert Green or others, and they display the regenerated photo of the person on the video, claiming that the content, clearly generated by ChatGPT, is teaching from the person in question.
However, they add a disclaimer saying it's AI-generated, and that it's content made "by a community of fans" to "pay tribute" to the famous person. And they check the box indicating that it's AI-generated content.
In any case, whether it's mediocre audiobooks or the dubious use of "Green's principles" or something similar, those who do it right don't seem to be penalized by the algorithm despite a truly terrible voice. A few days ago, I spent more than a week studying the phenomenon.
I think this is a good analysis:
the problem most likely does not lie in the use of ai voice in itself, there are enough of facelless streams with synthesized voice that work well.the key factor here is whether the video was made with effort put behind it or not. If ur choice is elevenlabs, then ur main concerns should be the right voice, the script nd the visuals that contribute to the overall content.

YouTube doesn't affect your video's AI voice. YouTube doesn't care about it. So you focus on the quality of your video so that people are interested in watching it.
