Google announced June 2026 spam update - it should only take a few days to roll out

These updates are useless anyway. Google isn't what it used to be anymore.

I revived a project after two years and rebuilt the site, but basically only the home URL is indexed—none of the others are getting indexed. Could this be related to the algorithm?

There could be any reason behind it and it's difficult to say. We usually go with the basic steps like sitemap, site structure, index tag, "Page available for index" on search console when manually checked, etc. If everything looks normal, then we can check for other factors like penalties and crawl budget issues.

One of my sites has 800+ pages stuck in "crawled but currently not indexed." The underlying issue is that the site has low authority and Google refuses to index hundreds of pages from low authority sites regardless of high CTR and great content quality. So, you need to evaluate the site and check which weird issue is stopping them from indexing it.

Good reminder not to panic while the rollout is still moving. Since it’s global and covers all languages, comparing changes across a few sites before making any major fixes should give a much clearer picture than reacting to one bad day in Search Console.
