How long did it take your blog to get its first consistent traffic?

in my opinion there is great variance but something i have realized is that traffic does not increase linearly. For some time things seem stagnant but then a few posts rank nd drive in more traffic. Concentratiion on deepening the discussion of the topic nd working on older posts has worked better for me than prodducing new content.
The time may fluctuate greatly based on the niche, however, the major change happens once there is enough support content around the topic. while an individuual article can attract a few visitors by chance, it is the support conteint cluster that attracts most of the traffic.

Most took 4–8 months of consistent publishing to earn steady organic traffic.
i would not place a lot of emphazis on a strict schedule since some less competitive websites attract clicks almost immediatiely, whereas other websites take a long time to do so.
The important thing for me is that several similar posts started to rank together rather than depends on one post.
this is when clicks becomes more regular.
The reason i do not believe there is any specific month i which a blog becomes popular is the fact that there needs to be much enough material for the blog to rank as a whole, and therefore the traffic is not just coming from a single post but ,many several pages.
From my experience, it usually takes around 6–12 months for a blog to start getting consistent traffic from search engines, but the timeline can differ. Some smaller or less competitive niches may see growth within 3–6 months, while highly competitive topics can take a year or more. Staying consistent with content, improving SEO, and building quality backlinks can help speed up the process.

There is no fixed timeline. A focused niche with good content can grow faster than a general blog with many topics.

Many people tend to consider traffic as the first achievement in measuring success however, for me, a actual turning point comes from understanding which pages contribute to making that momentum happens. My quickest growth happened once i saw these small signs my returning visitors, my page impressions, and the pages that I explored after landing on them.

However, i believe that it is less important to hit the timeline as opposed to hitting the stage where your website gains sufficient topical depth. While i have witnessed a situation whereby inidividual pieces of content got hits in the early stages, this does not happen untill you hit the stage where multiple pages help each other out through links and authiority.

For my blog, it took around 6-8 months to get steady traffic. After adding more content and updating old posts, things started improving.

My blog took almost 3 to 4 months to get consistent visitors from Google. After that, traffic kept growing little by little.

10 years ago, an average blog could start getting some traffic in a month. But same efforts put now will work in six months.
I believe that the timeline would have more to do with how fast the website builds topical authority, rather than simply growing older. It is evident that even smaller websites may becomes relevant faster by con centrating on one particular subject and not releasing random content. The imp turning point takes place when several pages work in unison due to internal linking.
