Writing without a clear target audience is the biggest trap publishing general content for "everyone" means you're really writing for no one. The bloggers who grow fastest pick a specific person with a specific problem and solve it better than anyone else.

In my opinion, the biggest blunder made is considering regular posting as equal to development. new bloggers tend to write on what interests them, without considering any problem statement of their target readership or search demands. In fact, a few strategically written posts could tell you a lot more than 200 random posts.
 
A lot of bloggers focus on writing for search engines instead of real readers. If the content doesn't answer the visitor's question well, traffic usually won't turn into long term growth.

I think they do not work properly on SEO of Article and so they don't get ranked. It could be the root cause.
 
most of them just publish and pray. they think if they write 50 articles google will magically send traffic. but with how things are now, you need distribution and some actual authority. if you arent building some basic links or driving external traffic to get those initial signals, you are just talking to an empty room. plus half the time their stuff probably isnt even indexing properly because google has gotten so strict on new domains. you have to force feed the indexer sometimes.
 
The biggest mistake is pushing out too much low-value content without a clear plan. Put your attention on solving user intent, growing topical authority, tightening internal linking, and then actually promoting your content. A few really strong well written articles, that get promoted well, usually beat hundreds of generic posts.

Using only AI without humanizing the content. By doing so you get the same generic content like everyone else and it may help you rank, but not stay ranked,

i see a lot of new bloggers planning content around keywords instead of around questions real people actually have. the result is dozens of articles that technically target search terms but don't become genuinely useful resources.

when readers stay, engage, and come back, SEO tends to become much easier over time.

A Common mistake is writing without a clear content strategy, Random topics and weak internal linking make it much harder to build authority over Time.

I think many beginners try to cover too many topics. Focusing on one clear niche can help build trust faster.
