How much time to get 1st page on google ?

I am new and i really want to work on SEO. Can someone tell me How much time do i need to be the first place on google?

Be patient. It will take some time. But for sure it depends on a lot of other factors like keywords, competition, content, backlinks, whatever... There are a lot of things you need to do right to get on the first page. But also then, it will take some time. So just be patient :)

When I'm saying super easy keyword:
1- A Forum in the first page " more preferably Top 5 "
2- Amazon / Big E-commerce sites ranking on a "Best xyz Keyword"
3- Pinterest, Flipboard etc in Page 1.
4- 1 or 2 small sites have the keyword in Title with shitty on page optimization.
5- I check the content for the first places if #1 have 300 words with no images and horrible on page optimization, then I made a content of 2000 words with images and videos and well optimized, people will stay more on my site so then It will outrank #1 with no doubt " If it's a small site "

These are some evidence that the keyword is easy.
I would say also you can reverse engineer the Forum point. I mean if you know that when forums rank in page 1 the keyword is easy, So if you know all keywords that this forum is ranking there will be a big probability to find a lot of other easy keywords.
Thank you, I got it
another last question If it does not bother you:
How many related posts you should write to improve your website topical relevancy and to improve your main 2000 words article?

I usually use 3 super related articles, It works well for me and makes google pop my article out much more easier.

It really depends on your efforts and your competitors. With proper SEO, it could take about six months, maybe even more, especially if it's a new website.

OP, nobody can answer that question for you... not even the CEO of Google if you had him in the room with you. It's up to an algorithm, and Google's black boxed AI which does what it pleases.

Hello Mate,

Don't be confused, If you target low competition keywords, then it will take 2 to 3 months, 4 to 6 months for Medium Competition. Here you need to build many strong backlinks to beat the competitors if they are strong in metrics.

The keyword is main here, so just take your own time to find such a good keyword and write SEO optimized at least 1500 words. Enough.

What type of site are you going to build? Amazon Affiliate or AdSense blog or Business website or E-commerce site?

As per your previous conversation, We understood that you are trying to do Amazon Affiliate. Whatever it may be, just scrape the phrase match and related keywords for your niche.
Then check their competition in any tool or manual. A simple way you can use any tool, But don't forget to check manually even if they show the keyword is low competition.

Note: Dont target Medium to high competition keywords. It will take much time and we have to spend $$$$ to rank.

Hello mate,

Welcome to BHW.
First thing is to choose very low competition keyword for your site (this is the strong basement to your website) and try to select Exact Match Domain (EMD) or partially match domain. Then design & post a good content in your website then do proper SEO. Keep on posting good & informative contents and be active in website. All the best.

Depends on the keyword and competition; your website and backlinks; your skills and experience; your budget... anywhere from 2-6 months to get to 1st page (on average), maybe 6-12+ months to get to first place (on average).

Hello,

If you doing really good in SEO without any blackhat technique your website has surely rank, but its a probability if
you want to rank more competitive keywords then its take time. the best way do your good work and track each month how you perform or not.

There's no reliable fixed timeline because competition, site history, content quality, and intent all matter. For a new site, I'd look at milestones like indexing, impressions, and gradual position movement instead of expecting first place by a certain date. Three to six months is a decent review window, but not a promise.

There isn't a fixed timeline. If you're targeting low-competition keywords with good content and solid SEO, you can see rankings within a few months. For competitive niches, it takes consistency, quality backlinks, and patience, focus on steady growth rather than chasing #1 immediately.

It really depends on your keywords and budget. Low competition keywords can rank in 2-3 omnths with good content and links, but competitive ones take longer.

there's really no meaningful average because two websites targeting the same keyword can have completely different starting points.

i usually look at factors like topical authority, competition, search intent, technical foundation, and how aggressively the site is publishing quality content.

in my experience, focusing on a timeline often leads people to make poor decisions. i'd rather focus on whether every month the site is becoming more authoritative than it was the month before.

the first thing i would do is analyze data in search console nd work on the pages that are almost ready to get the breakthrouggh. small adjustments to those pages which already have some impresions will produce faster results compared to working from the very begining.

Some low competition keywords can rank in a few months, but competitive keywords usually take much more time and effort.
