Have you seen Java - The Movie?

This the cool story from back in the day to when we were using netscape navigator with java applets, to now the enterprise, and highly positioned ai programming language of the present and future.

It all ends on a high note, but its a roller coaster ride from the core developers, and evangelists, about the language for the years since its inception.

I hated java when I started my uni course, and swore i'd never use it again. Then i switched and ONLY use java as my main development language.

Don't be fooled by all the Go, and Rust nonsense. Java is not to be messed with! lol (you'll think the same once you watch this! hahah)

What is your first memory of Java from back in the day?

I can remember writing pre javascipt java code to make stars twinkle on my homepage or some ish! lol

Intelli J is a great piece of java software. Do you have a favorite java software? Please don't say minecraft! lol

Those annoying gray boxes on websites that took minutes to load just to show a basic calculator or some animated fire effect... that was the classic applet experience. java got so much hate back then for being slow and bloated but for heavy multithreading and building massive scrapers it still holds up. everyone hypes go and rust now but java is still a beast for enterprise stuff. favorite software has to be burp suite... literally couldn't do half of web security testing or API analysis without it. @Panther28 IntelliJ is definitely a close second though, old school eclipse was such a pain to configure back in the day.
