It's been around a few months.

Google starts to crawl the web pages.

Coding was easy part.

Initial indexing happened early.

Mostly getting impression with all most 0 clicks.

every day new search queries appears with impressions going up and down. Ranking is worst sometimes as they ranks around 80 to 90.
I am new to this, will see how and where this go.

As looking for ways so that it can climb up organically.

sounds like you’re in the normal early phase where google is testing pages and impressions bounce, and 80-90 usually isn’t the final placement yet. keep feeding it solid content + clean structure and it should settle into better rankings over time.
 
Sharing initial research point.

When i published the site within first month i found a trend jack.
Page was indexed next day itself and started ranking on first page, i was getting visitors.
But as i was not aware of google timings like crawl and evaluation phase.
So made some change to meta tags, description to make them attractive.

Suddenly that page was orphaned by google next week. and not ranked till now.

Make sure when you take things like they need no more addition or small tweak. Work on it as much as you can before taking it live.
 
Found some information online about schema and rich snippits. FAQ schema are not supported anymore.

Also found that having Meta details as per guides like length of title. Keywords [not needed anymore] is also important.

Main points to consider for a page to rank or indexed
  1. Title must be unique and relevenat to page and should have proper length not too long
  2. Description must be unique
  3. Each page should have it's unique Canonical URL
  4. Page Must follow H1, H2, alt for img, and text to support page title and description
  5. Must use Webp image format if page have images. [use our free tool to convert your images ]
Making these changes affact the process and For search engines it get easy to understand the page content.

Site Ranks for Brand name on google and seperate utility tools as well in some regions.

Like -

Bluesky thread card previewer ahero tool

and so on

This is quite common with a fresh website. Keep on adding quality content and improving your internal links as well as updating your pages with the keywords appearing in Google Search Console; eventually, the rankings will become stable
 
Hey, this was in my head some time ago but I did not anything so its interesting to see your thread. I will follow your process.

May I ask if you built the website from scratch or used a CMS like WP ?

from scratch only.
 
After initial chnages, Optimising meta didn't help.

But some info i gathered is that a single page can be converted into mutliple page.
Google has canonical url for mapping each page.
So,
Using a sperate canonical url helps page to grow for wider audiance.

While serving page on another canonical [url or URL] alterting data helps
to avoide google from marking your page "google selected canonical other than user"

Ex -

Page is served on - http://www.example.com/keep-screen-awake

Can also be served on - http://www.example.com/keep-screen-awake-and-take-note

This get easier when you do it via code
 
You're on the right track. A few months is still early, and impressions are a good sign that Google is testing your pages. Keep publishing helpful content, improve internal linking, and earn a few quality backlinks. Rankings often take time to move from page 8–9 to the first few pages.
 
Good luck. Very promising. What is the niche exactly? Getting this amount of impressions and clicks means you rank for some good keywords but apparently not very competitive. Thats good. I wish you all the best

Are mostly used for search related task.

NOW AI is doing so much of searching work for you.

AnyWay for chats, AI like gpt or copilot are using indexed data of your site.

It also opened a new way to do url inspection for the page. Both bing and google supports it.

After a page get updated like content or structure.

Url inspection tells page is indexed.
Live test or direct google search show old data only.

While visiting user will see new page but google took 4 weeks to crwal the page.

As SEO people suggest site is in google sandbox,
Making content changes didn't increase impression or clicks.

Pages ranks at same position. Within 24hr window rank jumps b/w 2 to 10 pages. i.e(20 to 90)
After content update a few less impressions.
 
seo experts talk too much over the internet about https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/google-sandbox-or-google-dance.1830496/etc.

Pages are going through that phase only.
All most 3 months now.

As per the market info 3 isn't engough time.
It can strech up to 6 months.

Impressions CTR remains the same till now. [About 100-200 impressions with 0% CTR]
Avg positions seems to falctuate.[30 to 90]

Not sure either bots are crawling the site or it's getting into real stuff.

Now time will tell for next 3 months that how search will behave for website pages.
Didn't came to a canclusion till now
