Do you find it harder to trust Blogging advice now ?

I feel the same. These days i treat most advice as ideas to test rather than rules to follow. What works for one niche or website does not always work for another so i rely more on my own data than on general recommendations.

You’re not alone. The thing is, many strategies work in different situations, so people often jump to conclusions from their own wins. Instead of taking every opinion as gospel, test what really works for your specific corner. Keep posting consistently useful content, pay attention to search intent, and distribute it effectively. That will usually beat chasing every shiny new trend, even when it feels tempting.

Hello,

I have noticed that whenever I looking for blogging advice, I find completely different opinions on the same topic.

One person says publish more content, another says publish less and focus more on quality. Some recommend SEO first while other says social media is important.

A few years ago it is easier to know what to focus on but now there is so much advice which makes it difficult to tell what actually works and what does not ?

Has anyone else felt this way ?
Indeed, things have become hard since, in most cases most tips offered do not have any context bcz tips are shared without considering the niche, authority, and location from where the person offering the tip gained the information.
But the one thing that matters in real is testing on your data since SEO is not really one size-fits-all.

Yes—it's become harder to trust blogging advice because AI-generated and outdated content is more common.

I trust bloggers who share practical results, case studies, and transparent insights.

Well with the constant Google updates some advice might be outdated. Also we don't know exactly how the algo operates and people are giving advice based on their experiences and not actual facts... So something that works for 1 person might not work for another.

Yes there's a lot of conflicting advice now I think its better to test different approaches on your own site since what works often depends on the niche and audience.

There is much more noise today than ever before, which is why I rely more on case studies and my test sites than generalized recommendations. Something that works for a particular type of market or website size will not always work for another, making testing the most effective strategy for me.

The problem is that the attempt is being made to apply a universal rule to a situation where there r too many variables at play. A solution which would be appropriate for one blog will be useless when applied to another blog since the niche, target audience nd objecttives of the two blogs may differ drastically.

In my view the biggest challenge in today world is not accessing information but sifting through it. Each individual comes up with tips based on his,her personal expperiences but each blog has a different agenda and target audience. In my opinion it would be better to try things out and see what works for u.

I think the biggest mistake is following every new trend instead of testing what works for your own site. There is a lot of conflicting advice now but real data from your own content is usually more valuable than someone else opinion. I use other people advice as ideas then test it before making big changes.

Yes, that's common.
There’s a lot of conflicting advice because what works depends on the niche and goals. The best approach is to focus on quality content, basic SEO, and consistency, then test what works for your own site instead of following every new trend.

Build a 6 figure blogging business it's more work to do today especial for SEO ranking when you want build it on free traffic.
Google wants topic authority, you need to build topic clusters/pillars first, then blogging every day. Use a stable cms who not gererates mess of parameter urls =crawl waste like wordpress, google will not crawl you when you have a lot of messy urls.

Use a good free lead magnet because free organic traffic is cold, warm it up with a 5 or 10 days email course (free). Best advice is offer your own services, affiliate networks becoming more ridiculous, not accept young fresh sites with no DA authorithy and zero traffic. You make more money when you offer your own services/ courses.

You are spot on there is to much garbage content or recycled now and is hard to see what is good and what is bad...... If someone have a passion for a domain it can give proper advice i think will have much more success than all this AI recycled content

Totally agree, half the advice out there contradicts the other half. I just test stuff on my own site now instead of trusting every guru that comes alog.
