Hello everyone,
I recently launched an online teaching venture with the ultimate goal of transitioning out of my 9-to-5 job.

Teaching and writing are my true passions, and I am fully committed to making this work.

Financially, I am able to dedicate a modest budget of $100 per month from this June until next May to help build a foundation of student traffic for the upcoming year.
So far, my organic social media efforts have yielded very humble results: 50 posts resulted in fewer than 50 followers and a maximum of 8K total reach.

Realizing,
I need a shift in direction, my current plan is to focus on deep-dive blogging first, and then repurpose those articles into social media content.
My hope is to drive meaningful traffic back to my educational website and steadily build brand trust, using my small monthly budget to support this marketing funnel.

⭐⭐⭐ I know many of you have walked this path before, and your insights, guidance, and honest critiques would be incredibly valuable to me.
If you were in my shoes with this budget, what strategies would you recommend I try and test? Thank you so much in advance for your time and guidance.

With a budget of $100 per month, it really depends on the type of traffic you choose to invest in. For paid traffic like ads, you may not get a huge amount of visitors, while traffic bought from traffic-selling services is often low quality. In my opinion, investing in advertising traffic is the better choice—even if the volume is smaller, the quality is higher and it’s better for SEO.

is advertising traffic practically about -> spending on ads ( insta, facebook, etc ) for the coming session and so on ?
i believe i need to learn more about these terminologies.

$100/mo is tight but doable if you're smart about it.

Focus on one platform where your students hang out and double down there.

Also, repurpose everything. One blog post = 5 tweets, 2 LinkedIn posts, a newsletter, and a YouTube script. Stretch every dollar.

You've got the passion, that's half the battle. Good luck!

Pick one niche and go deep on it. Smaller creators grow faster when people know exactly what they teach.

I think the 100 USD you have is meant for for project cost per month,
Writing= Amazon Kindle probably
With some gpt
Should go far

Or ,are there ways you can translate those writing into some 2d videos
Maybe static short videos
Because in this ways, you can drive free traffic

As per AI tools to do most of this
Try get vertex on Google , I know it has some awesome tools for you to use

Traffic is pointless. You could get hundred of visits or even thousands, if you happen to link to a viral post of your own overpromising whatever shit. I've seen CPC under 1 cent. With $100, this means 10K visits, all pointless. Some people cheat playing solitaire.

The thing here is how many leads you can generate with an honest proposition. One of the most skilled and hard parts in the IM is by far, outpacing the cost acquisition with your LTV. It doesnt matter anything else.
It doesnt matter if you invest $5 a month or $5M. If you cannot outpace this, unless you are under unlimited resources, whatever venture you run, its going to be deem to failure.

Skills in promotion obviously can make an edge but if you happen to get, say a $10 LTV per customer, but you are investing $60 on average by your own, you are going to fail, no matter how much optimization, learning or whatever you put your effort on.

Take those $100 and start testing to find that LTV value. This is the most single important thing you must learn asap. Don't worry about optimization, visits, or anything else.

If you like writing, you can also write on Medium and redirect your posts there to your website/blog. It will give you some nice traffic and a small SEO boost as well!

With a $100 monthly budget I would focus on content and SEO rather than paid traffic The amount of traffic you get depends on your niche content quality and consistency so there is no fixed number

If you publish useful articles targeting low competition keywords and repurpose them into social content you could build steady traffic over time. In the beginning focus on creating valuable content and building authority rather than chasing traffic numbers Consistency usually pays off more than a small ad budget

What action you want the students to take?
Signup and leave their email address. Call and join a class. Buy a course.
You need to define your goal first include the CTA.
Traffic source depends on the action you want them to take, especially the paid traffic.

That was eye-opening. The LTV of a user versus their dollar value. I need to learn more about it. Now I’m also thinking about traffic, but specifically how to reach a more targeted audience.

I only know about Medium and Steemit. Both reward their writers with money if people read their posts. You can also ask chatgpt for more platforms like that, but these two are th Major ones. Oh and btw Steemit rewards users with Steem I think depending on their upvotes on their articles (Steem is a cryptocurrency).

Most of the paid traffic never comes back. So that's not for you. Spend $100 on building up your site and growing organic traffic.

Focusing on blog content makes sense, but I’d pick a few keyword topics you can realistically rank for instead of trying to cover everything at once. I’ve had decent luck turning one solid post into a bunch of short clips, quotes, and mini threads so social stuff doesn’t feel like a second job. You might also drop a simple lead magnet on your posts so visitors have a reason to stick around.

With $100/month you won’t get huge traffic, but if you focus on good blog content and use small targeted ads or boost best posts, you can slowly build consistent visitors and trust over time.

First focus on creating content that is attractive to your students. You can use part of your budget to improve the content itself and the rest for promotion.

If I'm guessing right and you're creating video content for social media, then the quality of the video, hook, and on-screen elements are very important. A lot of people focus on ads before making sure the content is engaging enough.

What really helps me squeeze value from a small budget is batching content ahead of time and scheduling posts with free tools like Buffer or Later, so I never miss a week. Also, if you can get into sharing blog snippets in Reddit threads or Facebook groups where your target folks hang out, that can move the needle without spending a dime on ads.
