High reach and engagement on an account trigger a 180 days verify. I’ve tried everything.

Hey. For some time now I’ve been dealing with a problem that didn’t exist a year or two ago. I’ve tried everything: aged accounts, different devices, high-quality proxies, various types of content, warming up accounts, behaving naturally, and about 10 other things.
As long as my Instagram accounts have low reach and don’t gain many followers, everything is fine. But when a reel suddenly takes off and I start gaining far more followers and engagement than AI competitors, it triggers a 180-day integrity review for “creating fake accounts and using bots for automation.”
Is there any solution for this, or do I just have to wait for an update? On Facebook, 2–3 years ago, it was the same, but now I can spam daily on a new account, get lots of restrictions, and still not receive any ban. Back then, I would get flagged after just one post on a new account.

Actually, writing that last sentence and thinking about how many things I’ve already tried over the past two months… yeah, I probably just need an update from Instagram.

This usually happens because sudden high growth looks suspicious to the system there is no guaranteed fix.
best is to grow slowly keep actions natural and avoid sudden spikes in followers or engagement.
Sometimes you just have to wait as platforms like Instagram update their system over time.

It looks like Instagram’s anti-fraud system reacting to rapid growth.
The only real solution is more gradual growth and time. If a 180-day review has already been triggered, all you can do is wait and keep the account activity as stable and natural as possible.

When an account suddenly grows fast, it can trigger a review, especially if the account is new or doesn’t have much history. If it keeps happening, it usually means the growth looks a bit unnatural to Instagram, even if your setup is good. Slower, more natural growth and letting accounts build up over time usually works better.

Rapid growth often triggers system flags there’s no quick fix.
Keep it natural, grow steadily, and avoid sudden spikes. Sometimes, patience is the only solution.

Waiting around for an update is how people slowly drain their own capital. What you’re seeing here isn’t some random glitch,it’s a built-in behavioral circuit breaker.

You said you’ve already tried aged accounts, proxies, and warming things up naturally. That works in stable conditions. But the moment a Reel takes off, your account stops growing in a predictable line and jumps into exponential territory. Right there is when Meta’s system kicks in with a retroactive deep scan.

At that point, it’s not just looking at what you did,it’s comparing how fast you’re growing against how much it actually trusts your setup. If you’re operating in a low-trust environment, even with good proxies, but a weak or leaking device fingerprint, then a sudden spike in engagement looks unnatural. To the system, it resembles injected or artificial traffic.

The issue isn’t surface-level,it’s structural. This isn’t something an update will fix. What you’re missing is a buffer layer: consistent, high-trust background activity that can handle sudden growth without setting off alarms. Without that, any viral spike will trip detection. As it stands, your current setup is already flagged, and continuing to use it will only make things worse.

Well I have seen month old account get millions of views and followers and still not recieve any verifications or anything, Looks like this is not a problem from Instagram, It has to do with your account or the type of content you are posting.

what happens after the 180-day integrity review is over, do the accounts get reinstated or are they gone for good?

The viral spike just triggers Meta's deep scan. Did you actually check those "high-quality" proxies on IPQS?

I had the exact same issue: bought expensive US residentials, standard checkers showed them as clean US IPs, but IG's internal system somehow saw them as Bangladesh... Instantly flagged. Many "premium" subnets are already cooked.

Switch to a dedicated, unshared 5G mobile proxy and make sure your anti-detect isn't leaking DNS.

In my experience, the key to avoiding flags isn't just about the proxies or the device fingerprint, it's about creating a consistent, high-trust environment that can handle sudden growth. What I've seen work well is setting up a buffer layer of background activity that makes the account look like it's been around for a while, even if it's a new account. This can be as simple as posting regularly, engaging with other users, and building up a small but loyal following before trying to go viral. I've noticed that using a dedicated, unshared 5G mobile proxy can also make a big difference, as it's much harder for Meta's system to flag it as suspicious. The issue with many "premium" subnets is that they're often already cooked, and using them can actually increase the risk of getting flagged. Switching to a mobile proxy and making sure your anti-detect isn't leaking DNS can help a lot, and it's worth taking the time to set it up properly.

I think you misunderstood me. It’s not about me suddenly doing a lot of activity like following, liking, or commenting. Almost every account where I post a Reel goes viral about 9 out of 10. It seems like I’d have to start creating low quality content just to prevent that

To be honest, I think most of what people say here is a myth same with proxies. In 2024/2025, I never warmed up my accounts, and I created accounts on the same device even after multiple bans. Even now, I haven’t noticed any impact from proxies or using a different device on account quality.

An account stays active and stable as long as it doesn’t gain too many followers or views. It seems like there’s some kind of Meta deep scan going on right now, like someone mentioned above.

Yes, I’ve seen many accounts like that too, but apparently it depends on the specific content and the country. In my country, nobody gets more views than me and my friend in the model content niche because everyone switched to AI. All of those accounts are stagnant, while ours gain in 3 4 days the amount of followers and views they get over several months.
It seems Instagram detects that this kind of growth is unnatural compared to others posting similar content. Based on the dozens of accounts I’ve had over the last two months, I keep seeing the same pattern as long as the account has low views and engagement, everything is fine.

Apparently, the best method would be to warm up the account slowly and space out Reel uploads over time. If one Reel gets a lot of views, then stop posting for 10 days and only upload the next one after that.

You need to grow slower as very fast growth probably triggers Instagram's algo and it restricts you momentarily.

I think you have already identified the problem. Fast growth sets off the anti bot algo from Meta. They're using AI now so it's much harder to hide

You'll need a more complicated set-up. If you are running AI reels farm - you will need several devices or run accounts on AppCloned versions.

Get used to getting asked for selfie and ID verifications for AI gen content. IG is heavily investing in their content integrity.
