Looking to start a Movie website and I need some guidance.

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well.

I'm trying to figure out how to create a website dedicated to movies and monetize it. I've been going through the forum and noticed that a lot of people mention using an API to bring movie content onto the site. Lately, I’ve been promoting some stuff on Reddit and managed to drive a good amount of traffic to my site, so I thought I could do the same with a movie website.
If anyone can help me get started or share a post that explains the process clearly, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks a lot!

What kind of movie site are you looking to build? For streaming movies & series?

There’s pretty easy to setup themes available on WP for that, you could try looking into both VideoPro or Vodi - I’ve built with both of these and their pretty solid in terms of speed and scalability.

Have you chosen a cms or framework. Wordpress with plugin api is easy, but if you code by hand, you need to handle more complicated api

I think the main promotion way for movies sites it's SEO, like google #1 position by name of films or something like this. Hope this is gonna help.

I want to use my tiktok account to bring traffic to the website. The account is dedicated to movies and tv shows
