One month in, low CPCs, far in the red

Right?! I mean, I didn't expect to net profit in my first month, but I also didn't expect to be this far in the hole. I would be stoked with a $2-3 CPM, none of this $0.71 stuff!

One month in, low CPCs, far in the red

Very true, quickly finding out that promoted social traffic isn't working well for me :) I'm definitely going to pivot to SEO and generating organic traffic to my articles and posts, since I know that's where longevity comes from. Definitely a learning experience!

One month in, low CPCs, far in the red

If you want to PM me, I'll happily send you the link, maybe there's something glaring and obvious on my site that I just can't see that's really hurting me. I don't have enough posts yet to start a pm otherwise I would have just sent you one.

One month in, low CPCs, far in the red

That's crazy, obviously this is my first real adsense/blog site so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as bounce rate, etc. The only traffic I'm getting is from Facebook ads and Taboola, with a little bit of test traffic I brought in from growtraffic.com, which ended up being pretty useless. I...

Backlinks, better for inner articles or home page?

I have a blog site that's in the TV/movies/celebrity niche, and am looking to start building some backlinks to generate organic traffic. Is it better to build backlinks to my homepage that targets my generic overall keywords? Or better to backlink to some of my inner article pages that target...

One month in, low CPCs, far in the red

I think I'm going to taper off the paid traffic and focus on SEO. If I can get a few articles with high SERPs then I think I would start doing a little better.

My first hard amazon affiliate journey

Just got the link and spent a couple minutes going through the site. Like others have said, it looks surprisingly professional and very content-rich. Nice color theme choices, plenty of content for user retention and keeping his users engaged. Very nice work man, I hope it does really well for you!

if you're creating your own custom themes, like everyone else said PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript are a must. but if you're just setting up a blog site with Wordpress, you can get by without needing to know PHP, or much HTML or CSS for that matter. you can install a theme and customize it...

One month in, low CPCs, far in the red

So I'm officially about one month in on my new site (celebrity/entertainment-related blog), and I've been running AdSense and Media.net ads, along with a few Amazon recommended product links. I've been relying on paid traffic (Facebook/Taboola/Twitter) while I try to generate some organic SEO...

Adsense different CPC for different sources

Hey everyone, I've been a user here for a long time but haven't really posted. Decided recently to dip my toe in the Adsense arbitrage game, so spun up a site about a month ago and have been wanting to ramp up traffic/revenue. So far, I'm only bringing in traffic from Facebook and am also...

Looking for dedicated server with /27 or bigger for email marketing

hey, I send out CAN-SPAM compliant bulk email, and I am looking for a reliable dedicated server provider that will shell out at least a /27 (more is better) block of IPs, and won't shut me down within a few days of starting my service. I don't send adult-oriented emails or anything illegal-...

The camera YOU are using for your videos?

I use a Canon 70D w/ a 24-105 f/4 USM lens... that's not necessary for vlog videos though, a prime 50mm f/1.8 would do perfect for something like that. I started out using a cheap Takstar shotgun mic but now use a Sennheiser wireless lavalier mic - sounds waaaay better for voice/interview type...
