Wisdomkid, I really like your method. I was going to do something similar with PBNs but your idea is much more economical. One question: Do you only make one post per blog, or do you make additional posts that link to other money sites?

I use my own PBN. It can be costly, but works better than most other things I've tried.

For #2 Go to Settings/Reading and select "your latest posts" for Front Page Displays.

Try a lot of different things, track everything, and do more of whatever works. Don't believe everything you read or hear, even if it comes from a seemingly trustworthy source.

I haven't heard of anyone doing this, but one important rule of PBNs is to mix everything up. Don't use AWS for all your sites. Mix it up with regular hosting, cheap hosts, etc. Otherwise, you are liable to leave a footprint.

Check the domain in Wayback Machine and make sure it didn't used to be a spammy site. Also, make sure the domain is not penalized. If you enter the domain name in Google and it doesn't come up near the top, it's likely penalized.

Contexual is better imo, but random works just fine.

I would split test as well. That's the only way to know for sure.

You can use a free wordpress site if you are on a budget and it's a small site. If you're trying to brand the site and create an authority site, buying a domain is better. For ads, you may need a plugin, depending on what type of ads you want to add. If you're just putting in affiliate links...
