Thanks guys. we're looking to just completely get rid of the pages. They follow old seo practices (duplicated content with a page for each keyword) that we resolved with the new pages and provided a better user experience that helps users find the best location for them so we are looking to get...
i use a couple:
Rank Checker Ace (free and pretty accurate. doesn't show search volume anymore
Serpfox (not bad. can be inaccurate if your selling local services but good 90% of the time)
SERPscan (good for local. You can select city locations and analyze your serps in different locations)...
Hello All,
I have a situation with my site where a vendor created a local directory of locations on a sub-domain of my site. This sub-domain has approximately 2000 pages. It is a PR3 and a good backlink profile (not many links. Mostly citations. Not spammed). It get decent traffic but 80% of...
i've been seeing this a lot for a client recently. Those Q&A sites get a lot of fresh content (multiple times a day in some cases) and that fresh content is favored. I'd try some social signals and engaging with uses on the site along with good authority backlinking (though it seems your doing...
1.What software do you recommend? I thought about GSA, but i dont know is that a smart move because i am newbie. GSA is good but it is not something you can use the second you get it. it takes a bit to learn to use it properly.
2.And does language matters when i create content, i mean can it be...
Doesn't look like a major negative seo attack honestly. I would begin with pulling your WMT backlinks and using a tool like link detox. I'd begin with anything not indexed/malware and low quality exact match anchors. Do you have a WMT manual penalty/notice? I had something similar with a site...
This is far from the end of SEO. Piece things together. You still have access to search volume. You can still work with average CTR for a page. Work out approximately how many visits you're getting if you truly need too. You also have WMT data (while not the most accurate) to give you a decent...
I normally start with keyword research but in all honestly, I tend to rely less and less on it. If i know my client is trying to sell this item then I have a faint idea what the keywords I am targeting would be. I only rely on keyword research for search volume at this point. In terms of the...
I've switched to using DA for a while now over PR. The problem in my opinion is the correlation between the two. I think Moz definitely pulls in PR as part of their DA evaluation so how accurate of a measure is DA? Another big part of DA is the backlinks that the moz crawler brings in (which...
You have nothing in the manual action section of webmaster tools? My site has been hit with a partial manual penalty for a few months now and we've struggled to get it removed. I am currently on the third try of disavowing links and submitting a reconsideration. All of the examples provided by...
Currently it is posting with a 50% success rate but it keeps posting the same article repeatedly even if it was already successful. This is in addition to the problems in my last message.
The ticket number is 2538. I submitted it on Tuesday. Currently if i submit an article and it attempts to post, it will say the post failed (even though it didnt) and then try to post that failed article to the next domain and repeat the same process over again. Thanks for the help.
Do you have an eta on the time it will be fixed? I am still seing this as a problem. Currently it is posting the content but it stays in the scheduler with no "successful" or "failed notification" and continues to post duplicates of the same article on different blogs within the network...
