I would suggest tweeting them and initiating some kind of conversation on tweeter rather than email. I find I get a better response from people that way than if I just cold-email them. Social Media is gonna be even more important come 2014.

it's easy..just create a Facebook page and post tons of sexy pictures of girls and build a huge audience of fans. Then, you can direct your facebook traffic to your site and presto...free traffic;)

Are you targeting the right keywords on your website? Sounds to me like you need to optimize your site by adding the name of your business or what you do + the local area (i.e. smoke bars in seattle)

welcome to the world of blogging. Yes, it's typical from new sites to get a PR 2 or 3 without doing much...i think they call it the honey-moon period, which is a way for google to basiclaly entice you to the blogging world. Just wait after that passes, then you'll tart losing rank, dropping off...

there are plenty of tools out there for checking expired domains..just do a check on google for "check a list of expired domains" and you will get a bunch of relevant links to the query.

Also, make sure you don't "hijack" a sales thread as you will get banned. This just happened to me when I replied to a sales thread and received an angry warning from the guy who started the thread.

best thing is to hire some services. just go to the BHW section under Link Building and there you will see dozens of members offering selling social media services. Btw, what niche is your site?
