hi,

i just bought a expired domain with the age creation 2002 , and now the whois show creation time today dec/17 , so i lost my domain age?

the status before i purchesed was expired , does google check whois info to make it relevant? or it have others ways to measure that? coz this site have being indexed by google since 2002...

thanks.

if you buy a expired domain its date is reset . the main motive of buying expired domains is to use its already existing link profile .

it sounds as if the expired domain you got reached the "pending delete state", which is why you got a brand new Whois Record and a new Creation Date.

Not in the eyes of Google. Google determines domain age from the time Google first scraped the domain. It doesn't use WHOIS records to consider domain age.

nice , so my site have PR 2 and 5 back links , lol , but it will work for what i wanna
