I think It's very seldom for others to do blog commenting. But I think it's still helpful specially when you are promoting something. Not bad if you'll do it again and again.

Re-blog and rewrite doesn't make sense. It's just a waste of time. If you are tired of writing articles. Let someone do it for you. There are Content writers with high quality but with affordable rate. Maybe to spend $2 per 100 words article would be ok. Less effort for you too.

Rewrite? Not really. Sometimes using tools or software are not a solution. Its always best to write it on your own and never copied or rewritten.

Maybe you just had much expectations in writing that article that is why you became unsatisfied. Let somebody read the article and ask what do they think of your article. Also, writing is never pushing. Don't push anything to come out good. Just write naturally, because sometimes simple are...
