Just don't fall into the trap of perfectionism. You have to balance time versus output. In IM you learn very quickly
that with things like content creation you have to have a personal limit as to what is "good enough". Call it good enough
and move on to the next task. If you go read courses by the IM "gurus" you will find a simple writing style and many times
spelling and punctuation errors......enough so, that you think to yourself.....didn't anybody proof read this before it was
released?? The Gurus will tell you that its the message that's important and not perfect English.

However Mr. Skyrocket, I will use the words I want. Furthermore, since you are a well respected member, I will not bug you with my vocabulary of choice.

Yep you just imitate that and it's golden. All seriousness people like points being made quickly. It's a fast paced world.

Your writing will become better once you started to write more and more. Practise only improves a person. Dont analyse your writing or article too much. Writing will come in a flow. Without knowing you will start writing good. Only thing is your article should be interesting enough to make the readers to read it without feeling bored.

Maybe you just had much expectations in writing that article that is why you became unsatisfied. Let somebody read the article and ask what do they think of your article. Also, writing is never pushing. Don't push anything to come out good. Just write naturally, because sometimes simple are better. Simple words are easy to understand, no need to complicate your words.

Hey Dude, When you concentrate your time purposely on the future possibility that you aspire to realize, your time is passed on to it and makes it attracted to you with a force stronger than the one you directed towards it... Dare to love yourself as if you were a rainbow with gold at both ends...

At last, something I can offer advice on in this forum. so far It's been a journey of 'help out a new guy' - Im not much of writer, I mean to say, I can string the words together and I'm sure I'm not the worst around either. I am launching my new blog next week and so have been writing to get a bank of posts ready.

I've just finished a degree as a mature student in International Business and I can offer you this, as, has already been mentioned. Write for yourself and find your own style. I have written lots during the last few years and I can tell you that what one person thinks is a great piece (an 88% mark) would be lucky to get a 60% from another marker. You can't judge and some of it is down to not just the reading skill of the reader but the mood they happen to be in at the time of reading.

Big words ,,, that made me grin as I was working with another mature student who reminded me of that episode of Friends when Joey wrote a letter to help Chandler and Monika adopt a baby and he put every word through the Theasaurus (Not to be confused with a long extinct animal). This student I was working with did pretty much the same and Im sure she thought it made her look clever ... What a Knob.

In my experience it is very difficult to write the "perfect" article(s). I have also noticed that, reading some articles I wrote years ago, I would change them today. Moreover, the audience you are referring to is very important to be kept in mind, so you should ideally know WHERE your articles are being published before writing them.

That said, I would not forget one thing: passion counts
