Frankly, I had a loooong list created years ago that was too complicated and that I stopped using, because there was so much stuff to pay attention that if followed through I would have never buy any site. Frankly there is too much competition that if you bother too much, you will wave that site...

I implemented 301 redirects in April on an old site that I bought. I changed the URL structure and did internal redirects because of that and of course to redirect incoming link equity to matching pages. I did a complete overhaul, added a lot of content and that resulted in 700% traffic...

So you are saying once all this is in place (hosts file redirects to a forged localhost website and the forged website is using a self-signed localhost CA and the seller whitelisted all browser warnings) and the seller loads https://www.paypal.com in his browser then the URL in address bar still...

^^^ This. It's like giving the name to the next mobile OS an "Andros" or "Mobdroid". When I see a marketplace with the word "flip" in it's name it's an immediate turnoff.

it will be back quickly. I let 2 of my mini money sites expire (hey, it happens) and apart from losing traffic for the 2 days they were expired nothing changed on the google part.

I am looking at GA of a blog that has been gradually losing G traffic for the last 2 years. To me it looks like it went overboard with ads. At any given position on the page there are 3 ads displayed on the screen and in total there are 6+ ads per page. I thought it's Panda slowly killing it...
