Which domain snapping services are widely used today?

Back in the day as in 5 years ago when I was heavily buying expired domains I was using namejet, snapnames, pool and godaddy.

Have things changed much in the recent years if any?

Does any of you guys use raw domain lists and not filtered with metrics already at hand? I used to use exody's lists yet I had to process aprox 100k domains daily at that time. Yet that was when PR was still the metric of choice.

Things have changed. What services are popular today? Be it raw lists or filtered.

The ones you listed are still the most popular domain catching services. For raw and filtered lists, check out expireddomains.net. It's a very useful service with lots of drop lists, auction lists and expired domain lists (You need to create a free account)
