Depends on what site you are looking to automate. Twitter and Facebook have a lot of limitations on what you can automate. I'm pretty sure Twitter doesn't allow scripting for following.

Affiliate Marketing involves YOU selling the product to a list, whereas lead gen is essentially selling a list to someone who wants to sell a product (potentially an affiliate marketer, but selling leads to offline businesses is very popular as well). Both have their pros and cons and can be scaled.

Might have meant sole-ownership llc? I kind of just registered and payed for it then forgot about it with the intent of being able to buy wholesale lots from vendors that required tax exemption certificates and FEINS then resell on amazon etc.
