Computer Science Major with a huge interest in IM

I'm currently a Junior studying comp sci at a state college. I recently took a huge interest in IM after messing around with some amazon and web design projects. This site has been a huge resource for me over the past couple weeks, and it seems like a combination of being active on the forums /constantly learning more about IM and taking that knowledge and actually going out and doing something with it until I succeed are the cornerstones of this biz. I have a sole-proprietary LLC at the moment as well, though I haven't done any business under the name and I'm not sure what I will use it for.

Might have meant sole-ownership llc? I kind of just registered and payed for it then forgot about it with the intent of being able to buy wholesale lots from vendors that required tax exemption certificates and FEINS then resell on amazon etc.
