Its bizarre as you can abuse a site and see nothing and ones you work and tip toe around get hammered. It feels a bit like Google is selecting the sites that are paying Adwords!!

What i do is pick the keywords then google search them for things that match. For example writing about being a virtual assistant I would search for "being a virtual assistant" then commenting on blogs relating to that search. Not all are ******** but spending 1 - 2 hours on it is worth the time.
