Those tools are crap compared to Yahoo when it comes to non-mainstream niches. Even in mainstream niches they only track the most popular sites accurately. Not to mention that they're even slower than Yahoo when it comes to indexing and showing links.

The site I'm currently focusing on was affected, the traffic was down by around 70%. This continued for about 5 days. But it's back to normal today, will see how much it gets tomorrow.

It's pretty easy to get any pirated copies taken down actually. Unless it ends up on The Pirate Bay that is. Just said a DMCA, all file hosters like Mediafire, RapidShare etc. will take it down fairly quickly.

You can probably but what's the point? You won't any benefits of 64-bit computing if your OS isn't 64-bit too.

I use a variation of this technique, although I only pick products with gravity >100. Yes, they have more competition but also the product names are searched more. Plus I have most of the good backlinking software/services so competition doesn't matter that much...
