After adding music via android app, the original sound is just gone. I tried uploading through both "shorts" and "upload video", but recently after the update, the "adjust volume" button disappeared for both options. I know on tiktok it's necessary to upload via the app with music added...

I'll try, thanks. One question: Are the shorts I've uploaded so far ruined already? Like, if I delete the channel, and upload the videos on another one, will the youtube algo not promote because they were already once uploaded before?

Umm, I'm not sure. Can't find it. I did just notice that my channel had no country of residence selected, so I just selected united states. Edit: Yes, channel language was set to English.

Well, successful is a big stretch, it's performing OK, but not as good as I'd like it to. If I could just make content for both platforms, then I'd be stupid not to try to fix the problem.

The channel has been verified since creation. I didn't buy the account, created it myself, without vpn's or anything like that. I am sitting on it permanently, so it does have watch history, yes. PS. Thanks for the answer anyway, even if nothing pans out.

Hi, I am creating original content for tiktok and youtube. Tiktok is consistently getting 1k+ views, decent retention and like/view ratio, but youtube shorts sit at zero views. Not a single impression / view. I have uploaded 5 videos so far and all of them are exactly sitting at 0-1 views...

Which one though? Some (if not all) emulators I've used are detected and cause your account to get shadowbanned.

oh yeah, then deleting the app on iPhone, and preferably clearing cache/cookies on PC will definitely do the job. (just to be safe, but you'd probably be fine either way)

If you're using app on phone, then it's a little harder, because it can read your phone data, and possibly detect you even with changed ip, I'm not sure. But to be safe, for sure, do not open the app, clear the data and cache (again, not sure how to do it on iphone, I am using android), then...

I think you might be right about tiktok detecting that videos didn't change too much. I'd work on that mostly. hashtags are not THAT important, but yeah, probably good to target audience that will like the content for sure.

which emulator are you using? also, why on cloud / which cloud? Can you give more info for targeting US audience? would help me a lot. PS. from what I've seen new accounts are limited to low views, no matter how good the content would be otherwise. But... once you get through 'warm-up' period...
