Adjust music button gone on android, any fix?

After adding music via android app, the original sound is just gone. I tried uploading through both "shorts" and "upload video", but recently after the update, the "adjust volume" button disappeared for both options. I know on tiktok it's necessary to upload via the app with music added, otherwise you miss on getting extra visiblity. Is it the same way here? Is there any way to circumvent this?
