I don't think it's a question of ethics. If the product is rubbish, it would be ethical to say so. If the product is good and it has some features which are hidden and prompt cusotmers to actually buy it, it would't be such a good idea to reveal them.

You could try buying cheap stuff from China and selling it anywhere else. You'd probabily need to do a trip to China in order to find the best deals there.
