Sorry if this is duplicate content but what are peoples thoughts on white hat SEO for local search results? Any ideas or tips that differ from standard SEO practices? This would be for a local business. Biggest competitors don't have many backlinks.

Not sure if this is classified as whitehat but could someone teach me how to put a link within a username when I'm signing up to forums?

It looks to me like the owner has ZERO knowledge of SEO, webmaster or anything else for that matter. I'm unsure about the owner having used disavow but from the looks of things, web design, branding, SEO etc etc it would appear to me that they paid somebody a one off payment to build this site...

If I buy a domain that is expiring soon and revamp the site under the same niche will the existing backlinks still work? Sorry for noob questions

I've used strictly white hat techniques on my blog and I'm ranked highly on Google for two of my articles. It took about 4 months for Google to rank me that high

Writing about it would be difficult due to client confidentiality.The search phrase won't have much competition, especially locally. I suppose I could just try to get some backlinks but for this particular site I need to be 100% white hat

I know that but what I'm saying is that this site won't have much content when it's finished. It will literally be about the business and that's it. Do you understand my question? It seems not
