I don't really understand the replies so far. How do you actually know if you are unable to use the same card? People all the time must cancel the trial version before the card is billed. Are they really unable to use the same card for a different service?

Do you know if LinkedIn is able to check the value on the card? For example, if the card has $50 on it, and LinkedIn Recruitment is $100 per month, can LinkedIn know there is insufficient value on the card? Or do they only know that it's a valid card?
