My LinkedIn account which I set up stealthily with gradual networking requests got restricted after a month of use. In the past, I've always had problems immediately so I thought this account was working.

But let's say it was in my real name and I provided the ID. Would LinkedIn actually release the account after they received the ID? Or would they demand more and more information and documentation?

They should release the account if you provide the ID unless you are doing something which strictly violates their terms of service.

Usually, providing an ID is enough to get your account back.

t's worth noting that if you are unsure about the legitimacy of a request for your ID, it is advisable to contact LinkedIn directly through their official support channels to verify the request before providing any personal information. This can help protect you from potential scams or phishing attempts.

Providing the I.D. will make your troubles go away.

I never heard back from them. My case is a little different.

I had a legit account there with my real ID, that I deleted recently coz LI always felt like a dumb place to hang out.

Then I got a potential client who needed me to have a LI account, and I tried to relogin to LI for reinstating the account.

Result? They asked me for ID which I provided. Received nothing from them yet in email. I don’t think my account is/will be reinstated.
