I have experienced only negative results by testing this. Tried this on many sites (5-10) with various different techniques (even tiered shorturls) and haven't had any positive serp movements at all. In fact, I've managed to completely wipe out a couple of domains from SERPs.

I'm just curious and wondering if somebody's been able to rank a new site on this year (or last month) with keyword that has at least 6k searches a month? And by ranking I mean getting to the first page at least.

When have you experienced this exactly? 301's still worked fine for me on October.

I've basically managed to rank some sites for the last 2 years by just 301'ing penalized domain to a new one. And I've kept on doing this over and over again. It's been working just fine and I've almost fully regained all the rankings every time until now.

Has anyone else experienced that 301 redirect isn't working as good as it still did on October/November? Especially keywords with 10k+ searches a month don't seem to get any kind of serp rise anymore.

You are a little bit late here since it's Christmas already. Building backlinks doesn't help you now because Christmas related queries will drop to almost zero tomorrow and so do the traffic. You could rank next year though so keep this up :-)

If you want to minimize costs, automate as much as you can and still actually RANK something - build OR buy your own PBN for Blog posts and use GSA for everything else.

Has anyone else experienced that hotmail seems to be blocking sent emails much easier than they used to do? I did fine a few months ago but something has changed.

You can probably rank to first page with these methods (if used correctly!) within a month or two but your rankings won't last long.

We have a serious problem here. There is nothing to be done. Worst that can happen, you will rank the first page with your blogs and money-site. Now, that would be a disaster.
